Fabtech Unveils Modularts Kitchens: A Smarter Way to Build
Fabtech officially launched Modularts Kitchens on September 18 at Casa Ibarra in Pasay City, introducing an innovative modular stainless steel kitchen system designed to bring greater flexibility and adaptability to kitchen spaces.
The event brought together chefs, F&B business owners, architects, engineers, contractors, hospitality professionals, clients, partners, and industry leaders for the first look at Fabtech’s newest innovation.
Seven Years in the Making
The launch highlighted Fabtech’s continued investment in manufacturing and innovation, including its advanced fabrication capabilities and investment in a TRUMPF laser tube cutter, the first in the Philippines. The evening’s main highlight was the reveal of Modularts Kitchens, following seven years of research and development, millions invested, and countless tests.
Leading the presentation was Nicholai David, Chief Operating Officer of Fabtech and Founder of Modularts Kitchens, who introduced the vision, thinking, and engineering behind the new system.
The story behind Modularts centered on one simple question:
“Is there a better way?”
For Nicholai and the team behind Modularts, that question became the starting point for developing a different approach to kitchen fabrication.
A Smarter Approach to Kitchen Fabrication
Modularts Kitchens features a patented interlocking system with no bolts and no welding, allowing its components to be assembled, disassembled, repaired, and reconfigured as needs change. Made from food-grade 304 stainless steel and precision laser-cut components, the system is designed for durability, functionality, and flexibility. Its modular and flat-pack design also supports easier transportation, assembly, maintenance, and future modifications.
During his presentation, Nicholai shared the thinking behind Modularts and how its modular design can provide greater flexibility for foodservice, hospitality, and institutional environments.
Bringing the Fabtech Group Together
The launch also brought together several companies and ventures within the Fabtech Group, giving guests a glimpse of the diverse businesses and brands that form part of the group.
Guests were able to visit booths featuring Auro Chocolate, MODO Food & Living Japan, and Gruppo Dolci with the booths themselves fabricated using the Modularts Kitchens system.
The booths provided a practical showcase of Modularts’ versatility, demonstrating how its modular components can be configured into functional spaces while maintaining a clean and modern appearance.
Beyond introducing a new kitchen system, the event highlighted how Modularts can support the evolving needs of businesses across foodservice, hospitality, and F&B.
