Fabtech Opens Pickleball and Table Tennis Court at the New FabHQ

That is why we are excited to open our new Pickleball and Table Tennis Court at the newly launched FabHQ.
A New Space to Move and Unwind
The new facility features two pickleball courts and a dedicated table tennis area, with sports equipment available for everyone to use. Open to all employees, the court can be enjoyed during break times or after work, making it easy to fit movement into the day.
Why We Built It
Supporting a healthy and balanced lifestyle has always been part of how we care for our people. Over the years, we have encouraged physical activity and team bonding through initiatives like our annual sports festivals and wellness programs.
By bringing sports facilities directly into the workplace, we make fitness more accessible and inclusive. More importantly, we create opportunities for connection across teams, roles, and age groups.
Getting Everyone Ready to Play
To officially open the court, Nurse Geoff hosted an introduction seminar to help employees get familiar with pickleball. He walked everyone through the basic rules and gameplay, making the sport approachable even for those trying it for the first time.
Although pickleball was introduced in the country in 2016, it has only recently started gaining wider popularity. The game combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, making it easy to learn and enjoyable for all ages. Its low-impact nature makes it especially well suited for a diverse workplace like ours.
The Court Comes to Life
After the seminar, employees wasted no time in trying out the new space. Some jumped straight into pickleball matches, while others chose to play table tennis. Those waiting their turn watched from the sidelines, cheered on their colleagues, and shared plenty of laughs.
The atmosphere was relaxed, lively, and full of positive energy. It was exactly what we hoped the space would be.
